Gym Booking Process for Student Clubs and Associations

Step 1:   Check the Gym Schedule to see if your date is available. NOTE: if you want to book a non-sporting event, mats will need to be put down to protect the gym floor at your expense.

When choosing an event time that requires matting please ensure you have two hours before and after your event to allow for matting to happen as well as setup and take-down. Some events that go past 4pm or are on weekends may be held to additional scheduling requirements and fees

Step 2:  Fill out Event Proposal Form through SUS

Step 3:  If approved by SUS your booking is sent to Student Life

Step 4:  Student Life secures your gym request and send out an Event Approval Letter

Step 5:   Meet with Athletics Operations Coordinator (and potentially Facilities as this has been the process in the past with all internal bookings. The decision still needs to be made whether or not it is necessary to include Facilities)
