Yoga Rave

This is one of the hottest events at UFV!! Formally called Glowga. This high energy yoga event will feature glow sticks, black lights, glow in the dark paint and a live DJ!  This event is suitable for all fitness levels.

Please note: This is a substance free event! We will be focusing on health, wellness and community all night long.

Abbotsford – North gym (E105)

For the full effect, you’ll want to wear your brightest, whitest, and most neon attire so that you’ll glow under the black lights. Wear clothing that is also comfortable to move in.

6:00-7:00 pm
Participants will need to sign in on arrives, so make sure you arrive early! You will need your UFV Campus Card for this event. Once signed in you can get decked out in glow sticks, UV body paint, and more. Hang out, dance and take photos until the yoga class starts! Lululemon is one of the main sponsors for this event and has donated four high quality Yoga mats (valued at $70 each) for us to give away to some lucky participants.

7:00-7:20 pm: Warm-up with Heidi H, UFV’s Dance Fit instructor. There are no wrong move during warm-up, wake up those muscles and get you ready.
7:20-8:00 pm: Rebecca M from Haven Yoga and Wellness in Abbotsford, will lead you in a serious of yoga poses, while DJ Elixir spins his hits.

If you own a mat, please bring it. For those that do not have a Yoga mats we have some to for people to borrow, while supplies last.
