Fall Fitness Classes are scheduled for both Abbotsford and Chilliwack campus. Classes run September 11 – November 30, 2017. Classes will not run on Stat holidays.
UFV Students are able to attend fitness classes on both the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campus FREE of charge when presenting their UFV Campus Card to the instructor of Fitness Class Greeter. All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to participating in a class.
STUDENTS: We ask that UFV students RSVP on MyCampusLife-Campus Recreation to reserve their spot in a Fitness Class.

Strength & Conditioning
High energy cardio class incorporating Kickboxing and High Intensity Interval Training; Suitable for all levels, no equipment required; towel and water bottle recommended

SPIN & STRENGTH
Come try out the new Keiser spin bikes in our Spin & Strength group fitness class. Half the session will be on the bikes working on your cardio, with the other half working on your strength using a variety of equipment and body weight exercises.

MORE THAN CORE

Feeling a little tired on a Monday? Wish you could have a nap before your afternoon class? Here is your chance. Campus Rec and the PRLC have partnered to bring you the newest fitness craze, Napercise! We will provide you with a mat, a blanket, soothing music and someone to wake you up.

YOGA 4 FITNESS
This series of Yoga Postures – moving and static – will bring strength, balance, and flexibility. This class offers a great cross training opportunity with powerful yoga sequences that will give your body a workout and also offer alternatives to stretches you might not have explored. As well you will learn breathing techniques that increase stamina and relaxation. Whether you are in training or just starting out this dynamic class is for you.

BELLY DANCE FITNESS
Based on authentic belly dance movement, but kicked up a notch for the purpose of a good ole-fashioned workout. This is an all-levels class working on breaking down each move and doing repetition drills with gradual addition of new moves, allowing everyone to feel successful as we get our groove on! Wear comfortable workout clothing and athletic shoes.

This class is an absolute blast. Energizing your mind and body as you take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party!
