Kids Camps

The University of the Fraser Valley department of athletics and campus recreation will be hosting Summer Camps on both the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campus this year for ages 6-18 from July 3-August 30, 2018.

Our day camp programs use the power of experiential learning to enhance the personal growth and development of each participant. During this week, your child will work on developing their fundamental movement skills through running, jumping, throwing, hopping, skipping and catching. We will practice these skills through fun and co-operative games-based programming, as well as arts, crafts and educational session. It is our mission to ignite your child’s passion for physical activity for life!

Program curriculum is focused on creating a safe and encouraging environment geared towards promoting self-esteem, positive social interaction, co-operation and leadership development. Our camps are led by current UFV students from a variety of  academic backgrounds along with Cascades varsity athletes, in partnership with the Department of Kinesiology.
