Fitness Classes

Spring and Summer Classes in Chilliwack will run May 8 – August 8, 2017. Schedule for Abbotsford is still to be determined. Learn more about the partnership between Campus Recreation and UFV SUS

Fitness and Recreation classes are organized so UFV students can pursue lifestyle balance, remain active and stay physically fit. Times are based on student class schedule and availability of both space on campus and instructors. While classes are open to faculty and staff, students are the primary focus of the program.

All participants will be asked to sign a waiver on their first visit.

We ask that UFV students to RSVP on MyCampusLife-Campus Recreation to reserve their spot in a Fitness Class.

Employee Register and Cost

When: Friday, May 5, 2017 @ 4:00 PM
Where: Student Activity Centre Front Desk (E150) or Pre-register Online
How to Pay: In person  by cash, cheque, debit, or credit card
Chilliwack employees – pre-registering will be through the registration from. Payment will be over the phone with credit card. Someone will call you with in 24 hours of submition

Try Before You Buy Week will run May 8-12, 2017, all classes will be FREE for UFV employees.

Drop-in (purchased 24 hours before if attending in Chilliwack)$7.50

Fitness Pass Options
An Unlimited Pass allows participants to attend any of the fitness classes being offered during the term.
A Single Pass allows access to a single class being offered during the term. For example, you can purchase a Single Pass for just Yoga or just Pilates.
A Drop-in pass is for single entry into a single fitness classes being offered on a particular day.
Drop-in passes for Chilliwack will need to be purchased 24 hours before attending class and paid for over the phone with credit card. Please use online registration form.

Fitness classes will NOT be scheduled on Statutory holidays .

Dance Fitness


Based on authentic belly dance movement, but kicked up a notch for the purpose of a good ole-fashioned workout. This is an all-levels class working on breaking down each move and doing repetition drills with gradual addition of new moves, allowing everyone to feel successful as we get our groove on! Wear comfortable workout clothing and athletic shoes.

Mind & Body

Bring your own yoga mat. Wear comfortable athletic clothing.

All levels of fitness welcome. Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, develops control and endurance in the whole body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong pelvic floor, and improving coordination and balance
