Campus Recreation

Fitness and Recreation classes are organized so UFV students can pursue lifestyle balance, remain active and stay physically fit. Times are based on student class schedule and availability of space on the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses. While classes are open to faculty and staff, students are the primary focus of the program.

Campus Rec tournaments are for everyone!  All programs are organized as co-ed sports and open to all skill levels. Our goal is to foster the spirit of play and to provide participants with the pure satisfaction of participation through recreational tournaments.

During Organized drop-in, Campus Rec staff is on hand to help organize teams and to sign participants in as a membership in not needed (Campus Card Required). The goal is to provide an opportunity for participants to enjoy a fun, equitable and safe playing environment, while meeting new people. Click here to see we are planning to organized for FALL 2015.

Open Rec Sports

Not interested in organized sports? We offer a variety of Open Rec sports including basketball, badminton, indoor soccer, and other recreational sports. FREE with a valid Student Activity Centre membership. Equipment provided.

For Abbotsford classes, the $5 drop-in payment can be made prior to the start of a class at the SAC Desk (E150). For ease and simplicity, we offer a fitness punch pass that can be purchased ahead of time ($40 for 8 classes). Note: for employees purchasing a punch card, they are transferable between campuses.

The “Try Before You Buy” PROMO WEEK will run September 14-18, 2015 – All classes will be FREE for anyone to try.
